This is so damn true!!

I started this 2 and a half years ago because I was unhappy. Not just about myself and how I looked and felt about it. It was about my mind as well. 

2 years ago I was stuck. Stuck in the circle of getting up each morning, going to a career that I no longer loved, a career that I was already at the top of where I could get, there was nothing more to strive for. A circle that took me away from my children, I was NEVER there for pick ups, drop offs, school trips, if was called that my girls were sick guess what! I was NEVER able to get there fast enough. It took me a minimum of 2 hours to get to their school/daycare because of train schedules and delays. It broke my heart. Made me mad at life. Mad at the world and clinically depressed. Not anymore!! My commute is not even 2 minutes, I walk down the stairs to my beautiful home office and I am there to drop off, pick up, grab my girls from school if they aren't feeling well AND I get to attend their class trips and class parties!!

One decision to work on myself, my health changed not only my strength of my body but had a major change on the strength I have for life. Life is hard. Hard on your body and hard on your mind. Deciding to join in an opportunity that I thought was just to change my physical appearance has saved SO much more. My mentality, my outlook on life, where I'm going and my ability to have those moments with my kids. This year is going to be a crazy year! Amazing things are happening and I am so excited!! Twin Pregnancy photo I Never thought I would share!

I have never shared photos of our twin pregnancy. Something about myself changed with this pregnancy... I never wanted a photo taken, most importantly NOT of my face. This is one of the maybe 4 or 5 photos I have from this pregnancy. Of course I wasn't looking at the camera and of course my mom had to bug me to actually let her take this photo. I honestly don't even know how far along I was. All I know is I was embarrassed. As much as my husband told me how beautiful I was and how much he loved me, my self confidence began to crumble.

But I realized that day that yes I have some flaws but I have worked very hard to get myself to get to where I am. 87 pounds gone and I work on my self image every day! I AM NOT going to let self doubt consume me and fall back into the trap I was in before!

Loving Every Moment

My whole year has been a long weekend in my eyes. I have gone from one extreme to the next.

2 years ago I was working in a job that I thought I had to. Because growing up I was taught that I go to school I get a degree and I find a career. I worked that career for 10 years. I missed my girls, I only got to see about an hour of their lives each day. When they started school I had to take a vacation day just to see them off on their first day. I missed class trips. If I was ever called because one was sick it took minimum 2 hours to get home to them.

Fast forward 2 years I have now spent 2 summers with them!! We can now get up and go whenever we please. Yes I work a lot BUT the ability to do all of this from home on my time has truly changed our lives! So to me these late nights and early mornings are worth every minute I get to spend with these girls!!!

So if you have a dream that you're chasing I truly hope that you never give up on it because one day all of that hard work, dedication and patience will truly pay off!!

My Story: 
A little over a year ago I had a career in the big city. I went to school and went into debt for that career because I believed that it was going to be something that I really truly loved. And you know what… it was good… I had good benefits, made a decent wage, moved around and was able to find jobs easily in the different cities where we had moved. The problem with the career I chose was that it was stressful, it was demanding, it took me away from my house, kids and husband for hours because of the distance it was to get to and from work. Yes, I did have holidays and personal days BUT I worked Christmas vacation because there were deadlines that could not be missed. I worked while my family missed me and I missed them. I came home stressed and took that out on my family. So after 10 years of being tired, stressed, full of anxiety and depressed, I was put off work by my doctor.

I knew there had to be something more to life. There was something BIGGER out there for me! One day I was scrolling my Facebook news-feed and came across a post very similar to the one you are reading right now and I thought to myself “WHY NOT ME!”. At first I started this because my health was not getting any better with what I was doing or the medication I was on, the depression and anxiety was getting worse. So it was time to take a chance and do something for me. Little did I know that it was going to turn into something SO much bigger!

I had dreamed of working from home so I could be present in my girls’ life as they grow so WHY NOT ME. Those around me were growing their own businesses and pursuing their dreams, travel, vacation, spending so much time with their babies; WHY couldn't that be ME! I knew something in my life needed to change and that day, that post, that little message changed our lives forever!!

Not only have I been able to get off of my medication, I am at HOME with my girls! I no longer work in the Big City!

Beachbody programs come with their own meal plans and trainers so you do NOT need to be a health and fitness expert! What you do is provide others with the support and motivation to achieve their own successes with these programs. We use Facebook for online accountability groups and trainings.

2. The other option is paying the enrolment fee of $39.95USD/$43.95CAD if you choose not to purchase a Challenge Pack.

***After your first month as a coach, there will be a monthly business fee of $15.95USD/17.95CAD (No annual fees). PLEASE NOTE: These fees are waived for active military (US only).***

The monthly business fee covers the 3 websites Beachbody gives you which you can do some minor personalization:
1. Beachbody coach site,
2. Shakeology site (only available through the Team Beachbody Coach network)
3. Ultimate Reset Site.

You are welcome to create your own website (which I have chosen to do as well but it is not necessary)

The business fee also covers:
- your email account
- access to marketing materials
- your Coach online office
- personal development tools
- shipping, inventory and customer service that Beachbody handles for you!

**To remain an Active Coach, you need to have 50 Personal Volume (50 PV) points per month. By purchasing Shakeology each month, you will receive is 90PV and you are good. This is great because in order to explain and show the benefits of the products you will need to be using them yourself!**

The Day Has Come!

Well the day has come :) As of today I am a Full Time Beachbody Coach AND Stay at Home Mom!!

Last year was a whirlwind of change and why would this year be any different!

Oh my gosh it is scarey but this is where my heart is and it IS where I belong.  When I left my job in Toronto to come home I took on 2 other jobs from home as well. It was hard to find the time to be with the girls as I was on the computer from morning til night trying to keep up with the workloads.

2 weeks ago we decided that I would leave my Mortgage business for now and just focus on my other job, the girls and Beachbody until October when we would re-evaluate the situation. Well the universe had other plans. I believe everything happens for a reason and this, I believe wholeheartedly is a blessing for us!

The past couple of weeks have been one of the best! I was able to let the stresses of my previous job slowly float away. I was able to spend sooo much time with my girls! We went to the trailer, spent time with family, went to Legoland, the zoo and we danced ❤❤

I really want to thank my family and friends for all of their support!

Mom, Dad and Glen you are my biggest fans and love you to pieces for telling me to always follow my dreams ❤

And a very special thank you to my husband for always pushing me further and believing in me that I CAN do this! You are my biggest supporter and I am so happy you came into my life xoxo
